TRINITY COLLEGE ACTING

Picture
www.trinitycollege.com
We are delighted that Act II Theatre Company has been named as a Trinity Champion Centre 2022/23 for our successful delivery of Trinity qualifications in music and drama.  This is for the second year running!  Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language.  Trinity Champion Centres inspire other organisations by sharing their practice and advocating for accreditation in their communities and more widely.
Qualifications in acting are a great compliment to our performance classes. Students can take their performance skills and gain qualifications for them, while receiving guidance and tuition to develop their individual skills as actors.  We currently follow the Acting syllabus, but if students would prefer to specialise, syllabuses are also available in Shakespeare, Music Theatre, Speech and Drama, to name a few.

We enter students for the exams digitally, which means we film the students' exams and send them to Trinity to be marked.  This is done at weekends at our studio.
Exam fees are set by Trinity College London and Act II do not add any further cost on top of this.  Fees for acting exams currently begin at £38.00 for initial grade, with grade 8 costing £92.00.

Grade 6 and above carry UCAS points: evidence of the exams as a highly regarded and recognised qualification.
